Interests

I should begin with a disclosure. My legal address is in Massachusetts. My heart, time, and history is in the most central of Maine. Forty miles northwest of Bangor, ten years ago, I purchased 45 acres in the wilderness and many stories later am lucky to enjoy a small log cabin I built with my own hands and ingenuity. It was and is a dream unfolding more each year.
Fannie, my great grandmother was born in Maine in 1875 and lived 104 years in the town in which she was born. I wonder at the changes she saw during her visit here on the firmament of our planet, in such a diverse state. The technology and social evolution must have been head spinning. In Maine though, its vastness prevails and, as I’m sure many of you know, 1875 is alive and well in significant parts of central and northern Maine. Time travel is real in the plantations, townships, and Indian Lands.
I am
, so far, impressed with my life – its fortunes and sometimes extreme challenges. There has been no blinding success nor unrecoverable failures. I am single and do not fear my ability to love again. Trick is to be able to accept and feel the love should the chemistry sizzle again.
Thank you for your attention.
